A price to pay for B-BBEE audit process

THE fundamental role of verification agencies is to verify and enhance the value of broad-based BEE information by assuring its accuracy and validity.

The notion exists that verification provides assurance to "anyone who uses broad-based BEE information". The verification process will in all probability prove to be too costly for most small-medium enterprises, whose annual turnover exceeds the exempt micro enterprise R5 million turnover threshold.
