Acquisitions pave way to project opportunities

Brick, tile, and paving company Brikor is leveraging its position in the building industry through acquisitions, in order to participate in a host of local infrastructure projects under way or in the pipeline.



In August, the company announced that it had gained approval from the Competition Commission to acquire all the shares in the issued share capital of sand and stone quarry company Donkerhoek Quartzite, which will serve to boost Brikor's participation in South Africa's infrastructure spend.
