Afrimat BEE deal bites the dust
The credit and financial markets crisis has sunk the black economic empowerment deal announced by construction and infrastructure company Afrimat in July.
Afrimat would have sold a 10.8% equity stake in the company to a consortium led by Mvelaphanda Holdings for R122m. Follow-on deals would have increased Mvela's stake to 26% in three years.
