Altron appoints independent non-executive director

The Chairman of Altron, Dr Bill Venter, today announced the appointment of Barbara Masekela as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 1 February 2008.

Masekela has cut her teeth in the South African political transition by serving as Chief of Staff of Nelson Mandela's office when he was released until he became South Africa's first democratic President.
