ANC on red alert
President Jacob Zuma faces a political crossroad on Saturday - to publicly disavow his most vocal supporter or repudiate his alliance allies who swept him to power at Polokwane almost two years ago.
On Saturday afternoon, Zuma was to present the keynote address to the SACP's special congress in the same city, two days after the communists publicly humiliated ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema, forcing him to walk out in disgust.
