Australia funds 4m-oz recovery from 305mt of West Rand gold dumps
An Australia-funded junior would be extracting four-million ounces of gold from 305-million tons of sand and slime gold-mine dump material on the West Rand, Mintails, CEO Dick van der Walt told the Africa Downunder conference in Perth on Friday...
First year's free cash flows would be some A$15-million. Life was expected to be 30 years and the company believed it was primed for growth to get the resource base up to 600-million tons.
