Banks halt talks over call for 15% BEE level
Protracted talks between the banking sector, unions and communities about increasing equity ownership in the sector to 15 percent are over.
This ends a stalemate that has lasted for more than a year since labour and communities began demanding an increase in direct equity ownership from 10 percent.
