BEE bill 'will help Zim'

Harare - The minister behind a new law which will place control of foreign-owned firms in Zimbabwe in the hands of local black bosses insists it will do more than create a new wealthy clique and benefit workers.

In an interview with AFP, Indigenisation and Empowerment Minister Paul Mangwana said the government would proceed cautiously while implementing the new legislation and called on the central bank to prepare the groundwork.
