BEE codes to be published
SA's cabinet has announced that the codes of good practice on broad-based black economic empowerment will be published and gazetted within a month. ..
In a statement, the cabinet said that the cabinet meeting had approved the codes. Government spokesman Joel Netshitenzhe said the development of "this first phase of the codes has concluded with consultations and the initial draft was amended after over 300 public submissions were received," he said.
