BEE needs a minister to widen honey pot
WAYS to make broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) work could range from the appointment of a cabinet minister to oversee the process to ensuring that more desperately needed funds became available, a Nelson Mandela Bay business function was told this week.
Other suggestions thrown into the melting pot during a panel discussion on the past performance and future prospects of BBBEE were that the government and companies could learn a great deal from empowerment of the Afrikaner.
