Bell Equipment sells 30% stake in BEE deal

Machinery and equipment group Bell Equipment has sold a 30% stake of its newly incorporated subsidiary, Bell Equipment Sales South Africa (Bessa), in a broad-based black economic-empowerment transaction, it said on Wednesday.

Bessa would house all the South African customer service centres, the company's subsidiaries in Namibia and Swaziland, as well as Bell Finance, the joint venture with Wesbank.
