Business compliance deadline looming

THE clock for the deadline for full enforced compliance with empowerment codes of good practice is ticking, regional businesses have been warned.

"If companies are serious about mitigating broad-based black economic empowerment (BBEE) risks to their businesses, complacency cannot be tolerated in future," the PE Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Percci) said.
