CoAL completes first tranche of BEE deal share placement

JSE-listed coal development company Coal of Africa (CoAL) has completed the first tranche of the placement to Coal Investments, an investment fund owned by Och-Ziff, to raise £33,15-million, it said on Thursday.

The company placed 25,5-million ordinary shares at a price of £1,3 a share.
