Consultant lauds new code of good practice for the property sector

The recently released code of good practice for the property sector unveils brave new broad-based black economic-empowerment (BBBEE) targets for the industry, says BBBEE consulting firm Olive Tree Consulting Services head Diane Albertyn.



She adds that this is particularly true for the enterprise development component of BBBEE, whereby the sector seeks to "invest in, support, facilitate and foster new and existing small and microenterprises" with a Level 1 to Level 4 BBBEE status.
