Dialogue takes BEE shareholding to over 30%

In line with its undertaking to achieve black direct shareholding of at least 26% in 2007, Cape Town call centre operator Dialogue Group ("Dialogue") has said it will issue 70,4 million new shares, or 25,1% of the group for R113,3 million, to a black-owned consortium comprising Dialogue's existing BEE partners MSG Afrika - who heads the consortium with an 80% stake - and Tlhalefang Investments holding the balance.

This adds to the initial 7% and 1% stakes acquired by MSG Afrika and Tlhalefang Investments respectively earlier this year in April, taking the group's total BEE ownership to over 30%.
