Directors take up the slack - Platfields

LAST month we promised to keep close tabs on ambitious V&A Waterfront-based platinum exploration company Platfields, which we reckoned was not exactly wooing too much support from investors for its funding plans.

The latest news from Platfields is that the group has 'invited' three senior board members to subscribe for shares in the company. This apparently will help Platfields "further its intentions to comply with all broad-based BEE parameters set by the Mining Charter".
