DTI scraps plans for discounted BEE ratings

THE NEW Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) codes may be out, but business owners should be cautious not to rush out and get a BEE rating as so far not a single rating has been accredited...



In an important development, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has also decided to scrap plans to set up specific rating agencies for small firms which will reduce the cost of a rating.
