DTI urges small black businesses to make use of BBSDP grant
South Africa's Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the World Bank on Wednesday launched the revised guidelines of black business suppliers development programme (BBSDP) aimed at addressing the principles behind the broad-based black economic-empowerment (BBBEE) policy.
The BBSDP is a cost-sharing grant, which offers support to majority black-owned enterprises in South Africa, whereby the DTI and the approved applicant both partially contribute to the qualifying cost of a project.
