Empowerment laws worry German SMEs

Germany had raised concerns with the South African government about difficulties that its small and medium enterprises experienced in addressing black economic empowerment (BEE), Harro Adt, the German ambassador to South Africa, said yesterday...



The concerns were raised by Adt at the meeting of the South African-German Bi-national Commission which convened at the end of October under the co-chairmanship of the two countries' foreign ministers.
