Empowerment needs private sector rebels
Because whatever successes we can attribute to the past 15 years of democracy, there is a dire need for the redistribution of wealth. The key challenges facing our country are, among others, unemployment, poverty and underdevelopment - exacerbated by the global financial crisis.
The Congress of the People (Cope) supports without reservation broad-based black economic empowerment (BEE) and it will promote its effective implementation when it comes to power.
