Equity-centred BEE leaves masses behind

Back economic empowerment (BEE) policies have failed the majority because they have not moved beyond equity ownership to other aspects that would filter through to broader society.



This is the view held by representatives of the private sector, the government and labour unions, speaking on the final day of the convention of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (Abasa) on Friday.
