Ex-Mbeki spokesperson, Sasol man joins South Africa's DME

Former Presidential spokesperson and Sasol government relations, corporate affairs and black economic-empowerment (BEE) GM, Bheki Khumalo, has joined the Department of Minerals and Energy (DME) as acting spokesperson, after an exodus from its media and communications department.

In a telephone interview with Mining Weekly Online on Wednesday, Khumalo said that he had decided to join the department after it had approached him for assistance.
