Ex-Trans Hex executive in CoAL deal

AN INTERESTING twist to come out of the deal at Coal of Africa (formerly GVM Metals) is that the CEO of Signet Mining Services, which has bought out Motjoli Resources' stake, is Calvyn Gardner.

Remember him? He was the CEO who, in 2002, oversaw the boots and all plunge that Trans Hex took into Angola to exploit alluvial diamond mining rights secured there by chairman Tokyo Sexwale thanks to his political contacts.
