Farming enterprises on BEE road
Johannesburg - Many farming enterprises in South Africa comply with the codes of good practise for broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), a report by PricewatehrouseCoopers said today.
The report on empowerment in the dairy industry indicated that while uncertainty regarding charters is causing producers to adopt a "wait and see" approach, many farming enterprises are already largely compliant.
