Flagstone Winery announces BEE partnership
Ses’fikile, which means ‘we have arrived’ in isiXhosa, is owned by four black women, three of whom are school teachers, namely Nondumiso Pikashe, Jackie Mayo, Nomvuyo Xaliphi and Phelela Mgundlwa...
Flagstone’s proprietor and winemaker, Bruce Jack introduced the Ses’fikile four as ‘a powerhouse of women’ and emphasised that the winery’s main contribution and involvement is that of mentor. The focus is on skills transfer not only in winemaking but very importantly wine marketing, he commented.
