FRand spends R2.3bn on BEE deal
A little over half of the R4.4bn excess capital that FirstRand (FSR) was sitting on at the end of March has been used to fund the group's black economic empowerment deal which became effective in May...
The group said it had provided R2.3bn in vendor finance for the staff component of the BEE transaction.
