'Fronting big threat to policy'

BROAD-BASED black economic empowerment (BBBEE) will continue to be relevant "until the economy mirrors the country's demographics and 80% of the productive means of the economy are owned by the previously disadvantaged".



Speaking at an East London Industrial Development Zone service provider's day, Eastern Cape Development Corporation chairman Bheki Sibiya, former president of the Black Management Forum, predicted BEE as "a multi- generation project which would take about 30 to 40 years to implement".
