Galaxy Gold signs black economic empowerment (BEE) transaction
Johannesburg, South Africa - Galaxy Gold Mining Limited (Galaxy Gold) announced today that it has signed a black economic empowerment (BEE) transaction in terms of which a BEE consortium comprising Mpumalanga broad based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) companies -
predominantly small-, micro- and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) in the Barberton district - and strategic empowerment partners will hold 17.8% of Galaxy Gold operating subsidiary Galaxy Gold Reefs (Pty) Limited (Galaxy Gold Reefs).
