GPI buys more of Sunwest
Empowerment vehicle Grand Parade Investments (GPI) has reached an agreement with South African hotels and resorts group Sun International (SUI) to purchase a further stake in SunWest, which owns the GrandWest Casino and the Table Bay Hotel.
Sun International chief executive David Coutts-Trotter said on Monday that the company had entered into agreements with GPI to sell 6.5% in SunWest to GPI for an aggregate purchase consideration of R231m.
