Impala sells mine stake in BEE deal
South Africa's second largest platinum miner Impala Platinum on Wednesday announced that the company had agreed to sell off a 15 percent stake in the Marula Platinum mine for R316-million to Tubatse Platinum and the Marula Community Trust...
In terms of the transaction, both Tubatse Platinum and the Marula Community Trust each acquire a 7.5 percent equity stake in Marula Platinum effective July 1 2006, subject to the finalisation of the funding agreement.
