Imperial Logistics International GmbH continues on course of expansion and acquires the Hansmann group
Imperial Holdings today announced the acquisition of Hansmann, an automotive logistics group based in Wolfsburg, Germany. Hansmann serves clients in the motor vehicle manufacturing industry in Germany, and particularly Volkswagen AG which is headquartered in Wolfsburg.The Hansmann group is a substantial addition to Panopa Logistik GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of Imperial Holdings. Hansmann expands Imperial's handling facilities by approximately 76,000 m² with 20,000 m² of warehouses. Hansmann's automated small-parts warehouse is able to store more than 100,000 component lines. In addition, the acquisition of Hansmann further enlarges Imperial's trucking subsidiary, Gillhuber Logistik's truck fleet by a further 120 owned and contracted vehicles. From concept design, to subsequent system implementation, until integration into the customer's material flow, the Hansmann group offers the entire range of logistics services generating an annual revenue of over 24m EUR.
