Industrial gas company takes next BEE step
Medical and industrial gas company Air Liquide Southern Africa, part of
the Air Liquide Group, has increased its black economic-empowerment
rating to a broad based black economic-empowered (BBBEE) rating.
"The company's BBBEE rating, awarded by National Empowerment Rating
Agency (Nera) continues to move Air Liquide Southern Africa upward in
the ratings, and proves the company's commitment to empowerment in
South Africa," says Air Liquide CEO,
Alain Larousse,
"This result is in line with the company's three-year empowerment
action plan and is complementary to stronger local investment and job
creation."
