Kagiso arm forms part of Bell's BEE deal

HEAVY-duty equipment manufacturer Bell Equipment yesterday unveiled a significant broad-based empowerment deal -- which will see the transfer of 27% of the company -- involving Kagiso Strategic Investments and Bell's employees.

The transaction is the first empowerment deal to be made in the sector for heavy duty equipment manufacturers and will see 30% of a newly created Bell subsidiary transferred to black partners and the group's employees.
