Kermas SA joins roll call of BEE deals gone sour

KERMAS SA has joined the list of mining companies cancelling agreements with black empowerment partners because conditions were not fulfilled.

BRC DiamondCore said last week it would go to court to cancel its agreement with Sefalana Mineral Resources. Last year, London-listed coal producer Bisichi Mining declared a dispute with Mhlaba Dube Memorial Trust, its Black Wattle Colliery partner.
