Klaas and farm honoured for social contribution to agriculture

Klaas Morkel of Bosman Family Vineyards in Wellington was named Farmworker of the Year at the anual Rudnet Farm Health Awards ceremony recently held at Tamara's at Delvera close to Stellenbosch.

"It's been like a dream come true," said a very excited Klaas. "I thought of quitting. I really try my best to make a difference on this farm. Sometimes it's difficult, but I keep on going at it. I see this honour as a challenge to better everything I do on the farm."
