Kumba coy on BEE timeframe
While Kumba Resources GM of corporate affairs and investor relations Trevor Arran yesterday confirmed market speculation that the company would soon be making an announcement as to its intended black economic-empowerment structuring, he also indicated that media reports that suggest the announcement would be made today are pure speculation...
Arran could neither confirm nor deny when the announcement would be made but told Mining Weekly Online that the company, which had been working on a deal for “a long time” hoped to be in a position to announce something soon.
