Loose ends hold up BEE legal framework

The BEE codes of good practice will remain in limbo until the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ties up some significant loose ends in developing the BEE legal framework.

According to a Financial Mail report, the DTI has been forced into extending the transition period, which came with the codes at their inception in February last year.
