LPG regulations to be promulgated in 'next few weeks' - Peters

A recently conducted pilot project to assess the viability of using liquid petroleum gas (LPG) as an alternative energy resource for low-income households, had proven that there was an appetite for LPG in rural areas, but pricing remained an issue, Energy Minister Dipuo Peters said on Monday.



Speaking at the annual LPG Safety Association conference, Peters noted that pricing of LPG was the main impediment to the uptake and use of LPG in the country.
