Mbeki urged to help speed up BEE
The Black Business Working Group has appealed to President Thabo Mbeki to help speed up black economic empowerment (BEE)...
The group presented figures which showed that BEE is lagging behind its targets in all spheres, from ownership of companies to procurement and skills development. “Research shows 98.2% of the JSE ownership is in white hands,” said Loyiso Mbabane, an academic researcher.
