METALS trader Metmar finalised a black economic empowerment (BEE) transaction with its two long-standing BEE companies to acquire 10% of the JSE-listed company's shares effective 22 November.

Daphne Mashile-Nkosi; and Ehlobo Holdings, a black-owned and controlled enterprise founded by Dr Alistair Ruiters and Rafique Bagus, have each acquired 5% of the company, funded by third party financial institutions, said CEO David Ellwood.
