Microsoft to invest half a billion rand in BBBEE
Microsoft is to invest almost half a billion rand over the next seven years into the local software industry, the company says.
This was one of Microsoft's biggest equity equivalent deals seen in South Africa to date and was part of its broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) programme.
