MTN delays mega-BEE deal
Company cites "severe constraints in current financial markets".
MTN (JSE:MTN) has delayed till further notice its new BEE deal which it had hoped to conclude in the first half of this year.
The company and the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) had agreed on the terms of the acquisition of Newshelf 664 - a stake currently owned by black staff and managers at the company.
