MTN to spend R1bn on BEE in 2006
MTN plans to increase its empowerment expenditure to a billion rand in 2006 after spending R936-million for the period ended March 2005, MTN spokesperson Yvonne Muthien told I-Net Bridge...
This year's black economic empowerment (BEE) expenditure soared 45 percent from R647-million spent in 2004. The group is working towards an introduction of an auditing process to verify BEE credentials and avoid fronting.
