New draft BEE codes miss the boat, say unions
GOVERNMENT’s revised codes of good practice on empowerment ...
have drawn sharp criticism from the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu), which is disappointed that pension fund holdings in a company are not recognised as an empowerment interest that would broaden transformation.
