Newly listed prefab firm expanding to keep pace with surging demand

Prefabricated buildings manufacturer and renter Kwikspace has listed on the JSE, to raise money to pay off a shareholders' loan and fund growth initiatives.

"We were part of Ethos, which was a private-equity deal, and we did not want to go that route again; it was an issue of listing or selling out to a big corporate," says Kwikspace CEO Keith Coulthard.
