No shortage of controversy - SKILLS SHORTAGES

The 2007 Black Management Forum's (BMF) national conference was always going to be a heated affair. It was an opportunity for the organisation to review the guerrilla warfare-type engagement employed by its president, Jimmy Manyi, who has completed the first year of his three-year term.

But no-one had bargained for the exchange of blows between the BMF and Mark Lamberti, the chairman of retailing group Massmart, who was invited to the conference as guest speaker.
