GEOFF CANDY: Well, David, would you agree, partially, at least, that Alan Greenspan is to blame?
DAVID SHAPIRO: I remember that period well. When he reduced interest rates I think there was also an expectation that other countries would adjust their economies accordingly and assist the global economy to improve.
