Other BEE deals in the food sector
Pioneer Foods introduced black empowerment shareholding to the company in 2006 through the establishment of a trust for employees of South African subsidiaries of the group.
In terms of the empowerment transaction, employees control 10 percent of the voting rights in Pioneer Foods.
