ATM provider in BEE deal

The South African operations of US automated teller machine (ATM) provider, Diebold have sold a 25.1% stake to a newly created black economic empowerment (BEE) entity owned by staff...

The 25.1% stake has been sold to Dieco Investments (Pty) Ltd, an investment company wholly owned by the Diebold Staff Trust. Diebold SA chief executive, Andrew Brown said the 180 Diebold SA employees will benefit equally from the transaction and 72% of them are black people.
