PetroSA says Coega refinery's costs fell about 20%

US-based engineering firm KBR was making "excellent" progress on project Mthombo, the proposed 400 000 bl/d crude oil refinery to be built at Coega, in the Eastern Cape, PetroSA CEO Sipho Mkhize reported earlier this week.



In a presentation held in Cape Town on the potential black economic empowerment (BEE) spin-offs of the project, Mkhize noted that the feasibility study of the project was on schedule to be completed in August.
